    Here is his response:
"Ja, das waren Künstlerexemplare, die E.T. so signiert hatte." (Yes, these were artist’s copies that E.T. signed this way.) (Email dated 23.08.2023).

/Some remarks on TOTalJoys (June 1976)/:

    • Print all pages in black.

    • I would like the booklet to resemble A. Messager’s /La Femme et...//Ecart/.

      • So, the cover should be cardboard, and the inner pages thinner paper (on which photos reproduce easily).

      • OR: both the cover and the inner pages made of the same paper, but of medium thickness.

    • I would also like the typeface of the catalog to be similar to that of Messager’s book, which I like very much.

    • I have indicated the placement of the text and photos on the draft.

      • They will be framed by a 1.5 cm uniform border on each page.

      • The sentences are all written in large characters, without numbering.

      • Enlarge the text on the cover, reduce the letters on the penultimate and last pages.

    • For some photos, captions are unnecessary, but I want to use them everywhere for the sake of unity and monotony.

    • For photos where my smiling face is not visible, add the laughter photo. (Like for the telegram. So: you can see where 😃 goes in the layout, which is: 😃.)

    COVER*

    • Photos with a thin border (original attached to the photo/gallery Howeg, etc.).

    • Please fix the text.

    PENULTIMATE PAGE

    • Photos of Janos Gulyas and the author.

    LAST PAGE

      • Only my name should appear as: TÓTal

      • © Endre Tót
